Ladies, I need help in the installation, I am new user of

linux and I'm having difficulty once in step Database Connection, it appears the following error: Warning: pg_connect () [function.pg-connect]: Unable to connect to PostgreSQL server: FATAL: autenticaà ³ the type of password failed to usuà ¡river "wifidog" in / var / www / wifidog-auth / wifidog / install.php on line 550

Please send me how to configuration install.php and postgresql.conf' and 'pg_hba.conf.

linux: kubuntu 8 server:localhost Postgres 8.2
